Proofreading plays an essential role in project management processes to guarantee the quality of the translation services we offer. We follow two steps when carrying out a translation:
—Proofreading is carried out by the actual translator. Whenever possible, we ask our clients for a turnaround time that will accommodate the time needed for proofreading by the translator assigned to the project.
—Proofreading is carried out by a proofreader unrelated to the translator. In the Proofreading Department, our native proofreaders, who are not involved in the translators’ work, are responsible for the final proofreading of the translation before sending it to you, thus guaranteeing high quality of the end result of this service.
However, it may happen that you only require a proofreading service and not a translation service.
This can be for several reasons, such as, for instance, the proofreading of a translation with which you are not entirely satisfied or the proofreading of a document on which changes have been made. In any case, our translators can improve your texts, whatever format the document is in: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
