Methodology for interpretations
It’s important to consider the following points when requiring an interpreting service:
- For simultaneous interpreting, plan in advance how the equipment will be arranged in the hall where the event will be held.
- Selection of the interpreters best specialised in the topic.
- Provide documentation (presentation, agenda, etc.) to interpreters so that they can prepare a glossary of this terminology.
- Ongoing communication with the client to plan everything.
- Set up equipment and sound check the day before the event.
